A Queensland storage lake on the Kolan River, west of Bundaberg, stocked with Australian bass and barramundi.
Lake Monduran is the impoundment behind Fred Haigh Dam on the Kolan River, about 50 km west of Bundaberg. The two names mean the same water, so look for either on a map or a sign.
Australian bass and barramundi are the fish stocked into it. Those are the two species to plan a trip around.
Sunwater owns the dam. Check its site for current facilities, fishing vessel requirements and dam alerts before you go. The dam is at Monduran Dam Road, Monduran, Queensland 4671.
Take the current Queensland fishing rules from Fisheries Queensland, part of the Queensland Department of Primary Industries, before you fish.
