Teemburra Dam is an impoundment on Teemburra Creek, and the fish you are here for are the barramundi and sooty grunter that are stocked into it. FlyLife’s article index describes it as a stocked dam near Mackay that holds very large barramundi.

You find it on Lucas Paddock Road at Pinnacle, about 54 km west of Mackay. Sunwater owns the dam, so its site is the place to check current facilities, fishing vessel requirements and dam alerts before you set out.
