Lake Kurwongbah, formed by Sideling Creek Dam at Whiteside in Queensland, with Australian bass, golden perch, Mary River cod and saratoga stocked into it.
Lake Kurwongbah is the water formed by Sideling Creek Dam, on Sideling Creek at Dayboro Road, Whiteside, about 25 km north of Brisbane. Sideling Creek Dam and Lake Kurwongbah are the same water, so you will see either name.
Australian bass, golden perch, Mary River cod and saratoga are all stocked into the dam. Seqwater owns it, and its site is the place to check current facilities, fishing vessel requirements and dam alerts before you go.
