Bjelke-Petersen Dam's impoundment on Barker Creek in Queensland, stocked with Australian bass, golden perch, saratoga and silver perch.
Lake Barambah is the impoundment formed by Bjelke-Petersen Dam on Barker Creek, at Haager Drive, Moffatdale, about 30 km north-east of Kingaroy. The dam and the lake are the same water, so you will see both names.
Four native fish are stocked into it: Australian bass, golden perch, saratoga and silver perch.
Sunwater owns the dam. Its site is the place to check current facilities and dam alerts before you set out.
For the fishing rules that apply here, read the current Queensland fishing rules from Fisheries Queensland (Department of Primary Industries) before you fish.
