Cooby Creek Reservoir is the impoundment behind Cooby Dam on Cooby Creek, at Cooby Dam Road, Kleinton, about 20 km north of Toowoomba.

Golden perch, Murray cod and silver perch are the fish stocked into the dam, and golden perch is also recorded in the water. If you want to start with a species that is known to be there, start with golden perch.
